Christmas On A Budget Activity

11:00-5:00 at the Walther's House (6780 Wellington Dr.)
This activity is open house style so you are welcome to come and go as you please.

Lunch is being served all day and we have some great classes planned!

- Great Bargain Shopping tips by Jessica Gunderson

-Chocolate Covered Cherries (hands on and lots of fun) with Jenn Stastny

- How to make an ordinary gift look extraordinary with gift wrapping ideas by Patty Mable

- How to make Christmas special through Family Traditions by Jane Breshears

- Book Wreath (make a beautiful wreath from a book) with Adrienne Nelson (please bring a styrofoam wreath, glue gun, glue sticks and a book for this project)

Also...great homemade gift ideas and decorating tips

Childcare is being provided by our Young Women at Stephanie Jones' house.

We hope to see everyone there!

Thanksgiving Blessings

Our Stakes goal is 7,000 cans that's 3 cans per family!
Bring your canned vegetables to R.S. to insure they get counted towards our Youth for their annual competition!!

Day Of Service

The Ward really came together to make our Day of Service a big success! Thank you to everyone who served, whether it be by donations, helping hands, preparing & serving food, writing letters to our military, cleaning ect. Know that you have blessed someones life by your service!

Recipe

CAKE BITES!

Once the cake is baked & cooled, crumble into a bowl & fold in 1 8oz. pkg. of whipped, room temp cream cheese & form into balls.

Lemonade Cake bites                    Pumpkin Spice Cake bites

White cake mix                                                  Spice cake mix

1 can lemonade concentrate                       1 can pure pumpkin

3 eggs

1/3 C. oil

zest from a lemon if you have one.

Chocolate Mint Cake bites              Lime Coconut Cake bites

1 box devils food cake mix                             White cake mix

3 eggs                                                                      1 can limeade concentrate

1/3 C. oil                                                                3 eggs

2 C. melted chocolate mint candies            1/3 C. oil

(ex. York peppermint patties)                      1 C. coconut

1 C. buttermilk                                                   Zest from a lime opt.
