Ward Conference Recap

The ward conference was held yesterday (2/28/2010). It was very sucessful. The stake high counselor, Brother Metcalf conducted the stake business (the sustaining vote). Immediately after, we witnessed the blessing of the Pitcher baby, and the confirmation of two newly baptized members, Flo and Hope. After the sacrament, the bishop asked Flo and Hope to bear their testimonies. They bore the witness the truthfulness of the gospel. Following them, bishop gave his remarks about the goals that we had set as a ward last year and how we had achieved them. After that, the ward choir sang. Finally, the stake president encouraged us to bring "the one" back to church. I wish you were all there to witness this spiritual event.
